Wind-Power Generation Experiment Site

【The Reason Why We Conduct Field Experiments】
People often ask us, "How many watts do you generate at what average wind speed?"
If the average wind speed per hour is 12m/s and the average power generation is 300W,the power generation amount per hour will be 300Wh.
Multiplying 300Wh by 24 (hours) calculates the daily power generation amount as 7200Wh.

300Wh is just the amount of power generated per hour. Multiplied by 24, 7200Wh is a theoretical value, not an actual value.
We think the correct way is to calculate the average wind speed for the day and divide the total power generation amount for the day by 24 (hours) in order to obtain the output per hour at the average wind speed of the day.

This is the natural wind data at the test site one day. The wind was blowing at a speed of 3.9 to 18.1m/s, but"the average wind speed was 9.5m/s".
Even if the wind is constant at 9.5m/s in a wind tunnel,"the average wind speed was 9.5m/s".
You can see that there is no constant natural wind, and it is constantly changing.
Even if the average wind speed is the same, the output changes depending on the wind incidence, so data of a constant wind speed from a wind tunnel is not valid for natural wind.
This is why we are particular about actual measured values in "field experiments".

Minimum 3.9m/s

This is natural wind data for 3 minutes. The wind is blowing at 8.8 to 18.1 m/s, and "the average wind speed is 13.3 m/s".
You can clearly see that there is no constant wind, and it fluctuates instantly.
